Research:

Molecular mechanisms of protein misfolding and aggregation and their biomedical implications. Conformational chaos vs.  determinism in misfolding of proteins in the context of prebiotic chemistry and “amyloid strains”. Extensive studies of structural transitions in proteins employing a vast array of biophysical methods such as FT-IR spectroscopy, fluorescence, circular dichroism, AFM and SEM microscopy, IEF, DSC/PPC.
